LV L'Immensité review: the office fragrance test

09 Aug 20265 min readBy Vapor Archive

Ginger, grapefruit and amberwood through a full working day.

L'Immensité is the closest thing we carry to a fragrance that reads as competence.

The notes

Ginger, bergamot and grapefruit at the top, geranium and jasmine with a pepper edge in the heart, amberwood and musk at the base. Clean, slightly salty, never sweet.

It smells like someone who is organised. That is not an insult, and it is exactly why it works before noon.

Through a working day

Applied at seven, still clearly present at four, quieter but readable in the evening. Two dabs is right; the oil keeps the amberwood base far longer than the spray does.

Who it suits

Office wear, meetings, and anyone who dislikes sweetness. It is also the easiest of our men's-leaning bottles for a woman to wear.

Verdict

Buy it as a daytime workhorse. Pair it with Tobacco Vanille for evenings and you have a full wardrobe in two bottles.
