Preorder policy
Anything in the extended archive is imported to order. You pay a deposit to reserve the bottle and the balance when it lands. Nothing is committed until you agree an arrival date — until then the deposit is fully refundable.
How a preorder is placed
Preorder titles carry a price for 10ml and 30ml on their own page. You choose a size and a quantity, add it to your bag and pay the deposit at checkout, exactly as you would any other order. Nothing is quoted by message: what the page shows is what you pay. Preordering is also the cheapest way to buy — a preorder is priced below what the same bottle costs once we hold it in stock, because you are committing before we import.
The deposit
The deposit reserves your bottle and is credited in full against the price. Nothing is committed on either side until you have agreed an arrival date: up to that point you may cancel for any reason and have the deposit back in full. Once you agree the date we book the import and buy the oil in specifically for you, and from then the deposit is committed — it is not returned if you simply change your mind. It always comes back in full where we are the ones who cannot deliver.
Agreeing the arrival date
We do not confirm a preorder on our side until you have agreed the date. Once we know when the import can land, the date appears on your account and in your inbox for you to agree or decline. Agreeing it confirms the order and books the import. Declining it cancels the preorder and returns your deposit in full — as account balance you can spend immediately, or back to the card you paid with within five business days. If you do neither, nothing happens and nothing is charged; we will simply propose another date. Once agreed, the date is a commitment: if it passes and your bottle has not arrived, your deposit is refunded in full without you having to ask.
Paying the balance to confirm
When the oil lands in Lagos we mark the preorder as landed and ask you to pay the remaining balance on your account. Paying it confirms the order. Only then do we fill, seal and ship the bottle — we do not dispatch a preorder that has not been confirmed and paid in full.
If the balance is not paid
You have seven days from the arrival notice to pay the balance. We give the exact date in the notice. If it passes without payment, the bottle goes back to general stock and the deposit is forfeited, because the oil was imported specifically for you. Message us before the date if you need longer and we will almost always extend it.
Cancelling a preorder
Before you agree an arrival date you may cancel for any reason and take the deposit back in full, either as account balance or to your card within five business days. After you have agreed the date the deposit is committed and is not returned for a change of mind, because the oil has been bought in for you. If we are the ones who cannot deliver — a supplier fails, an import is blocked, the oil does not meet our standard, or the date you agreed passes — the deposit is refunded in full whatever the stage. Talk to us either way: if we can move your deposit onto another fragrance in the same import, we will.
Fragrances not on the site
If the fragrance you want is not listed anywhere on the site, message us. Those requests are handled by hand on WhatsApp, and any deposit and its terms are agreed with you in writing before you pay it.
