Prada Paradoxe review: is it an office scent?
Neroli and jasmine over amber musk, and where it sits between polite and forgettable.
Paradoxe is a polished floral that has been engineered not to bother anybody, and that is a legitimate design goal.
The notes
Neroli and bergamot, jasmine and orange blossom, amber and musk with a light vanilla. Soft, clean, faintly powdery.
It is a floral that has decided not to argue with anybody, and there is a real market for that.
Performance
Seven hours or so from two dabs, moderate projection. It sits closer to the skin than Erba Pura, which is what makes it easier at work.
Who it suits
Offices with people who complain about perfume, first dates, anyone who wants floral without sweetness.
Verdict
Yes as an everyday floral. No if you want to be noticed from across a room.
